Did you guess these classmates?
WHO IS THIS CLASSMATE?
This classmate joined us at the beginning of our Senior year, transferring from a high school in Missouri. While she was at Beaverton, she joined Future Homemakers and Girls League. Classmates may remember her as rather shy and quiet but she tells us she’s not that way today! One of her proudest moments at Beaverton High was earning an A on an English test – not one of her favorite subjects. She returned to Missouri after graduation and has raised her children there. She has 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Who is she? Delores (Dee) Baggio Belcher
And three more classmates – no fair looking in the Memory Book!
WHO IS THIS CLASSMATE?
This classmate entertained us on Rally and was active in the sophomore class play. His after school poker games at Al Dardis’ house were a fond memory. After high school he pursued a number of different interests and ended up in Los Angeles to develop a professional acting career, which he has done successfully for the past 34 years. He has also begun writing a screenplay and returns to Oregon frequently to visit extended family. He has a great sense of humor and we hope to see him at the Reunion. Who is this classmate?
WHO IS THIS CLASSMATE?
This classmate served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era and qualified him for the VSM (Vietnam Service Medal). He went on to college and received an Associate of Arts degree and then a Bachelor of Arts. After 30 years of government service he retired in 1999. He and his late wife, Gloria, raised 2 children and spoiled 6 grandchildren. He now lives in Central Oregon and will be at the Reunion. Who is this classmate?
WHO IS THIS CLASSMATE?
You may remember this classmate as quiet and a bit shy but always kind and caring. After high school her life journey took her to Colorado where she married her current husband, Bill and they raised a daughter. She owned a property management business for several years after getting her real estate brokers license. Off she and Bill went to Rome, Italy in 1990 so they could work for the United Nations, returning to the States in 1995. She has taught international cooking, owned a knitting shop, was a weaver/spinner/dyer and published an international newsletter promoting English speaking women around the world.
She currently lives in Colorado. Who is this classmate?
Answers to the July Classmates will be in the August Edition of the newsletter –
