Work History and Highlights of my life since High School: Served 4 years in the Air Force in Grand Forks, N Dakota and Misawa, Japan. I met my first wife in Japan.
In 1967 I started working for the Bonneville Power Administration as a Draftsman. Became an Engineering Technician, Programmer, Systems Analyst, Database Administrator and LAN Administrator before an early retirement in 1994.
In 1969 my wife and I started a Teriyaki concession at Portland's Rose Festival. We had the concession for seven years. In 1992 I started my own business, Johnny's Gourmet Foods. Soon after I changed the name to Grandpa's Gourmet Foods, L.L.C. I distribute and sell Gourmet Sauces (Teriyaki, Almond-Curry and Texas Style BBQ).
Favorite Pastimes Video Production. I have been a Volunteer at MetroEast Community Media (formerly MCTV) in Gresham for over 22 years. Most of that time I helped others with their productions. Now I am finally producing my own productions.
I enjoy walking and playing basketball once a week My plan is to be around another 33 years. I don't have any plans after that.
